COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY

MOMI firmly believes we all have a role to play in maintaining the environment. Therefore we employ the best practices in sustainability. MOMI buildings use sustainably harvested resources, low-VOC finishes, energy efficient heating and cooling systems, high-quality insulation, earth-friendly cleaning products, energy-efficient lighting, and toilets, showers, and sinks that conserve water. MOMI also encourages its tenants to engage in energy and water conserving practices as well as organic waste composting.

Practices and building features that demonstrate our commitment to sustainability include:

  • Electricity for all buildings is supplied by wind power.
  • Commitment to recycling and waste reduction.
  • Use of sustainably harvested resources.
  • Responsible stormwater management.
  • Indoor bicycle parking.
  • Energy efficient lighting.
  • Gas use at all buildings is offset with carbon credits.
  • Niagara flapperless toilets used in all of buildings.
  • High-efficiency/geothermal heating and cooling.
